Sunday, at SFX.
A very short gospel reading vis-a-vis the previous weeks. Nevertheless, a very powerful message to convey too:

Luke 10:38-42
Jesus entered a village
where a woman whose name was Martha welcomed him.
She had a sister named Mary
who sat beside the Lord at his feet listening to him speak.
Martha, burdened with much serving, came to him and said,
“Lord, do you not care
that my sister has left me by myself to do the serving?
Tell her to help me.”
The Lord said to her in reply,
“Martha, Martha, you are anxious and worried about many things.
There is need of only one thing.
Mary has chosen the better part
and it will not be taken from her.”

Fretting about lack of sleep. Fretting about not enough time to finish work. Fretting about what's next for my career. Fretting about how to coordinate the many preparations for our upcoming wedding.
In the midst of the hustle bustle, I almost forgot that God will provide. That God knows what is best for us. Have I been listening hard enough to him? Have I chose to listen to what he's saying, rather than tuning it out?
P/s: there were 2 newly ordinated priests from Thailand who celebrated mass. It's really admirable how they mastered English language within a short period!
