Humbling Experiences

This has been a humbling year in terms of career experiences. I thought I knew it all or that things would go a certain way as I envisioned. But in reality, it didn't.

Did I have my disappointments? Yes, a fair share of it. Still, I need to pick myself up and continue learning and stretching myself. Not necessarily in terms of time spent at work. More in terms of the broadening and deepening of perspectives. Yes, variety and assortment, if I liken it to retail management concepts ;p

Something came into my mind when writing this post. Whatever we do in our jobs, we should make full use of our talents and give glory to God, no matter how small the task may be. The message is not new. Guess it was waylaid sometimes.

Be discouraged, for a while, with the setbacks if I have to. However, in no time, I need to continue the learning journey. Things happen for a reason and God knows best.

"God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can; and
wisdom to know the difference."
