Interceding for People

Today's WAU reading is very insightful.

To be genuinely interested in people.
The society we are living in, is often hard pressed with time. Adding to that, there's also talk about keeping a distance from people at work, to keep oneself "safe". Granted, these are the parameters that we are working with, it is up to us to be truly interested in people. I find myself being bounded by the time constraints. And that is certainly not a good excuse. I will try little steps to make a change.

If the Spirit tells you that you need to bring up a problem with someone, try your best to do it sincerely and with humility.
I can relate this to anger management. It is very easy to get worked up and carried away with what we are feeling at the moment. When we look back at our actions however, we may want to find a hole to hide ourselves or cringe in slight embarrassment that we gave in to our emotions and let our anger get the better of us. This verse is very timely for me, as I experienced a similar situation. Thinking about it, I am contemplating to speak to the person. Not quite ready to go ahead to do it yet for fear of the unknown.

Lord, I lift this up to you and look to your guidance here.
