This weekend's gonna be really tight for Dearie and myself. So, we decided to go for sunset mass today. We went to Sacred Heart. The church is smaller than the neighbourhood ones. Still, it looks very traditionally nice from the outside and inside too.
It's about Pentecost this week. And if I'm not wrong, it's the time when the holy spirit came upon the disciples. Am still learning about the church's traditions. Still, this portion from the second reading left some impression on me:
1 Corinthians 12:12-13
"For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and we were all made to drink of one Spirit."
We collectively are the church. So, similarly, we can also find Christ amongst us.
