Yesterday was the first Sunday of Advent. It's nice to see the purple colours again. That aside, what I really wanted to reflect upon was the intercessory prayer. There was an inclusion on strength for family members of the five Singaporean paddlers who lost their lives in the recent Cambodian incident.
It striked me because it is yet another reminder of how Catholic churches are also concerned about the well being of people, who may not be Christians. I was really touched by that.
