September has went by in a "blur" for me. Not that I was blurry about what happened in the month. But more that there were a lot of events then. I will try to write a bit about them here.
There was the company D&D, which was held at same venue as my wedding dinner. Overall, the night went quite smoothly, amidst very minor glitches. We usually gather post-event feedback and amongst them, many few colleagues actually expressed their appreciation for the committee's time spent. We were left wondering whether our employees only knew how to give criticism and forgot about the amount of coordination efforts that went behind the scenes.... Anyway, it was busy busy at work for me, as there were many projects to coordinate prior to going on leave. At one point, was running out of steam and feeling physically exhausted.
On a personal front, Dearie & I got married : ) The 2 days were enjoyable for us. Really want to express my appreciation to family, relatives, friends and colleagues for attending our wedding. Special thanks also goes out to these friends for helping us out:
- Father Y for solemnizing our marriage
- My pal, Karen and her hubby for being our MCs for the dinner
- My jie meis, Jen, Sheau Ing & Kim Weng
- My colleague, Jessie, for taking time out to go with Dearie & myself to source for flowers for our bridal car, doing the decorations, wrist flowers for my jie meis and my hand bouquet for the dinner
- Photographers, Jaron & Weiren
- Actual day photographer, Alan, and videographers
