As I booted up my PC this morning, it dawned upon me that 今日は藤木さんの誕生日。
The papers don't usually have any news of him, as he is pretty low profile. Early this week, I was shocked to read about a scandal involving him. My initial thought was disbelief. I also went to one of his Taiwan fan's blog to read about related articles.
That aside, I still remember how inspired I felt when listening to his songs. His vocals is not in the likes of singers like 平井堅. Nevertheless, it is his earnesty in interpreting the songs that inspired many fans including me. However, with this current smear, I am not sure if it will put a 'temporary blackout' to his career, as for starters his fans are lesser vis-a-vis artistes such as 木村拓哉. No matter what, I wish the best for his family, as they will no doubt be those most affected currently.
