Today, we went for hotel inspection to determine which venue to use for our D&D this year. As we shared our views about which of the venues visited today is preferred, I noticed 2 things.
1. The way something is being said, puts across to others, an image about ourselves (whether we are aware or not).
2. Sometimes, it really takes humility to be able to acknowledge that I do not know it all and can still learn valuable "gems" of knowledge from people who are younger or less experienced in a certain area. To this, I decided to try to be as open as I can (though it's not easy as there may be a tendency to have a "done it all, know it all" mentality) and learn from others, while remaining firm when necessary to what I truly believe in.
